what I think is more the problem is also that torture on 24 is just brushed off after it’s over with. People are just “fine” and walk away and go back to work when it’s done with. It usually doesn’t even take more than a few minutes.

Now, while I understand they only have 24 hours on the show, this is as unrealistic as anything, and if they’re going to make torture scenes more realistic, they should also consider the post-torture effects, like the PTSD.
