Wanted: names for fictitious middle-eastern countries

Inspired by an episode of Yes Priminister, a fantastic political satire which I am old enough to remember. Various British politicians and civil servants are invited to a reception in a muslim (i.e. non-alcoholic) country, however a 'political crisis' back home allows them to set up an emergency communications room. They find themselves being called into this room for 'urgent calls' from Johnny Walker and his associates. Anyway, the name given the host country is Qumran, which somehow works well, despite being an actual location in Israel.

Anyway, I thought we might come up with some suggestions for the three nominally-challenged middle-eastern countries. I'll start us of with:

Salamistan
Taqar
Yusufland
